The role emphasizes delivering outpatient therapy, developing safety and wellness plans, and coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field.
• Active license in Virginia and/or Maryland (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCP) or eligibility by hire.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
• Eagerness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care.
• Strong ethics and confidentiality in clinical practice.
• Ability to manage time and complete documentation efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide outpatient individual and family therapy based on client needs.
• Develop crisis, safety, relapse, and wellness plans to support stable functioning.
• Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely billing, documentation, and treatment plans; process insurance authorizations.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and staff to deliver holistic care.
