Job summary

You will assess clients, develop personalized treatment plans, and collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and medical staff to ensure continuous, comprehensive care for crises and transitions. This role aims to empower clients toward improved wellbeing and resilience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or related mental health field.
• Valid state licensure as LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent.
• Experience providing psychotherapy and mental health counseling.
• Strong knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and behavioural health principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with commitment to confidentiality and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions addressing a wide range of mental health concerns.
• Perform thorough psychological assessments and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and support clients in acute distress or emergencies.
• Facilitate anger management and life transition counseling to develop coping strategies.
• Maintain detailed, confidential client records in compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
