Job summary

The Smith Counseling Group, LLC in Chevy Chase, MD is seeking a full-time Licensed Associate Psychotherapist to specialize in trauma and eating disorders. The role offers a structured, mentorship-rich environment with a built-in referral network and ED-focused training, supervision, and certification.

You will build a full-time outpatient caseload, participate in regular supervision, and collaborate with dietitians, physicians, and other care providers as part of a coordinated treatment plan.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling (MA) or social work (MSW), or PhD in psychology.
• Active, unrestricted license to practice independently in Maryland (e.g., LCSW-C, LCPC, or licensed psychologist).

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a full-time outpatient caseload focused on eating disorders and trauma.
• Participate in regular clinical supervision to develop ED-specific competencies.
• Collaborate with referring providers as part of a coordinated treatment approach.
