Job summary

Northpoint Recovery is seeking a Therapist/Counselor (PRN) to provide individual, group and family therapy at our Washington sites. The role reports to the Clinical Director and requires licensure; shifts available Monday-Sunday 8am-5pm or 12:30-9pm.

You will coordinate treatment plans, document progress, collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, and ensure quality patient care. Compensation ranges from $32-48 per hour plus shift differentials, with higher pay for 5+ shifts per month.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Mental Health, Social Sciences or commensurate experience required.
• Must hold an active substance abuse or mental health licensure in the state where treatment services are rendered.
• Must maintain applicable state licensure requirements at hire, and for the entire duration of employment.
• 1+ year of experience in relevant field required; ability to work with a diverse population and possess strong interpersonal skills.
• Must hold strong personal boundaries and be able to build rapport with patients.
• Must understand and adhere to the ethical standards of the respective licensure governing board.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling, assessments and group facilitation to individuals and families.
• Coordinate all aspects of direct clinical care from admission to discharge.
• Consult with the multidisciplinary treatment team to provide quality patient care.
• Provide orientation and education to patients, families and others to aid in the therapeutic process.
• Collaborate with assigned patients in the development of written treatment plans; include patient and family involvement in assessment, treatment, education and discharge planning.
• Monitor patients on an ongoing basis to continually assess needs and facilitate treatment and interventions.
