Job summary

Cornerstone Montgomery, Inc. is seeking a Clinic Therapist for a full-time position in Silver Spring, MD. The role provides supportive therapy and substance abuse counseling to individuals and groups within an outpatient setting.

The position requires a Master’s in Social Work with Maryland licensure and 2–3 years of mental health and addictions experience. Benefits include generous paid time off, holidays, and health care eligibility after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work and valid Maryland licensure (LMSW, LCSW-C, LCPC, LGPC).
• Two to three years of experience providing mental health services and addictions counseling.
• Experience in individual, group and family therapy, case management and substance abuse treatment.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive therapy and substance abuse counseling for individuals and groups.
• Provide assertive case management including assessment, planning, coordination, linkage, delivery and advocacy of services for all assigned clients.
• Provide consultation to other programs and liaison services to outside agencies and families when needed.
