Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years in psychotherapy required.

About the Position:
A Therapist at Legacy Community Health provides high-quality psychotherapy to patients with behavioral health needs. Responsibilities include psychosocial assessments, individual, couples, and family therapy, and coordination with non-physician providers for psychiatric treatment. Documentation of all encounters, including contact and attempted contact, must be completed promptly. Reassessing patients and updating treatment plans as needed is essential, especially in childhood disorders.

Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Social or Behavioral Sciences from an accredited institution
  • Current Texas License as LCSW, LPC, and/or LMFT
  • Minimum of 2 years in psychotherapy
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred

A Ph.D. in the relevant specialty will be recognized with a CME/CEU stipend equivalent to their doctorate level, per policy.
