About the Position

A Therapist at Legacy Community Health is responsible for providing high-quality psychotherapy to patients with behavioral health needs. Responsibilities include conducting psychosocial assessments, providing individual, couples, and family therapy, and coordinating with non-physician providers for psychiatric treatment. Documentation of all patient encounters, including contact attempts, is essential. You may need to reassess patients and develop new treatment plans, requiring proficiency in various psychotherapeutic modalities, especially childhood disorders.

Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Social or Behavioral Sciences from an accredited institution
  • Current Texas License as LCSW, LPC, and/or LMFT
  • Minimum of 2 years in psychotherapy

Note: Therapists with a Ph.D. in their specialty will receive a CME/CEU stipend equivalent to their doctorate level, per policy.
