Job summary

Legacy Community Health is seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Therapist to deliver high-quality psychotherapy to patients. Responsibilities include facilitating assessments, individual, couples, and family therapy. The ideal candidate should possess a Master's degree in a relevant field and a Texas license, alongside a minimum of two years' relevant experience.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Social or Behavioral Sciences required.
  • Current Texas License as LCSW, LPC, and/or LMFT needed.
  • Minimum of 2 years in psychotherapy experience.

About the Position
A Therapist at Legacy Community Health is responsible for providing high quality psychotherapy to patients with behavioral health needs. Responsibilities include psychosocial assessments, individual, couples, and family therapy, and coordination with non-physician providers for psychiatric treatment. It is essential to document all encounters promptly and reassess patients as needed, especially in childhood disorders.

Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Social or Behavioral Sciences from an accredited institution
  • Current Texas License as LCSW, LPC, and/or LMFT
  • Minimum of 2 years in psychotherapy
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred

A Ph.D. in the relevant specialty will be honored with a CME/CEU stipend equivalent to their doctorate level, as per policy.
