Job summary

Family & Children’s Services in Tulsa, OK is seeking a licensed mental health professional to perform intake assessments and develop treatment plans for children and adults with mental illness. You will operate in an outpatient Community Mental Health Center, learning about diagnosing, crisis intervention, and coordinating referrals with internal and external providers.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling Psychology, with LCSW preferred.

Qualifications

Description

Therapist will provide child and adult intake assessments, treatment planning and treatment plan updates to children and adults with mental illness. Intakes will take place in an outpatient Community Mental Health Center. This position provides candidates with an excellent opportunity to learn about diagnosing, crisis intervention, and collaboration. Therapist will make internal and external referrals as necessary.

General Requirements

• A Master's degree in Social Work or its equivalent from an accredited school.
• Knowledge and experience in early childhood mental health, individual, group and family therapy.
• Knowledge and experience in conducting mental health assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning.
• LCSW is preferred; will also consider LPC or LMFT or under licensure supervision in the State of Oklahoma.
• Must possess a valid Driver License and satisfactory driving record and use personal automobile to travel to locations other than primary office.

• Increased specialized services for veterans, those most in need, and those impacted by the opioid crisis.
