Job summary

Meridian Health Services is seeking a Therapist for the Children’s Program in Delaware County, Indiana. The role focuses on delivering clinical services to children, adults, and families affected by mental health and/or substance use issues in outpatient and residential settings.

You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide individual/family/group counseling while collaborating with schools, courts, and community agencies to coordinate care.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in relevant behavioral science field is required.
  • Current non-probationary temporary Indiana license (LSW, LMHC-A, LMFT-A, LCAC-A) at minimum is required.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, mental status exams, and diagnoses.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and families.
  • Provide individual, family, couples, and group counseling services.

We are currently seeking a Therapist to join our team in Children's Program, located in Delaware County, Indiana.

About the Role:

As a Therapist, you’ll play a vital role for the provision of clinical services to individuals in their respective areas, primarily children, adults and/or families with mental health issues and/or dual diagnosis, or individuals with substance use/dependence issues in both the outpatient and residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, mental status exams, and diagnoses
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients
  • Provide individual, family, couples, and group counseling services
  • Deliver therapeutic services aligned with treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, courts, schools, and community agencies to coordinate care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and external partners both verbally and in writing
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical and administrative documentation
  • Adhere to organizational policies, ethical standards, and state and federal regulations
What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking compassionate, motivated individuals who are passionate about whole-person care and thrive in a collaborative, team-based environment. Experience in behavioral health or social services is a plus.

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marital & Family Therapy, or related Behavioral Science field of study required
  • Current non-probationary temporary license from state of Indiana in one of the following: LSW, LMHC-A, LMFT-A, LCAC-A required at minimum
  • Valid driver’s license, a driving record meeting Meridian's driving policy, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance required.
