Job summary

Meridian Health Services seeks a licensed therapist to provide clinical services to children, adults, and families in outpatient and residential settings in Wayne County, Indiana.

You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide individual, family, couple, and group counseling while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and community partners.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, Marital & Family Therapy, or related field.
• Current non probationary temporary Indiana license (LSW/LMHC/LMFT/LCAC) at minimum.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and mental status exams.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with patients.
• Provide individual, family, couples and group counseling.
• Deliver therapeutic services aligned with treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, courts, schools, and community agencies.

About the Role

As a Therapist youll play a vital role for the provision of clinical services to individuals in their respective areas primarily children adults andor families with mental health issues andor dual diagnosis or individuals with substance usedependence issues in both the outpatient and residential setting located in Wayne County Indiana

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments mental status exams and diagnoses
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients
• Provide individual family couples and group counseling services
• Deliver therapeutic services aligned with treatment plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams courts schools and community agencies to coordinate care
• Communicate effectively with patients staff and external partners both verbally and in writing
• Maintain accurate timely and compliant clinical and administrative documentation
• Adhere to organizational policies ethical standards and state and federal regulations

What We're Looking For

• Experience in behavioral health or social services is a plus
• Masters Degree in Social Work Psychology Mental Health Counseling or Marital & Family Therapy or related Behavioral Science field of study required
• Current non probationary temporary license from state of Indiana in one of the following LSW LMHC A LMFT A LCAC A required at minimum
• Valid drivers license a driving record meeting Meridians driving policy reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance required
