We are currently seeking a full-time Therapist to join our Metro Outpatient Clinic! This is a Monday-Friday position.
Working as a Therapist, you will provide timely, evidence-based clinical and non-clinical support services to children and adolescents. Services will include intakes, assessments, treatment planning, psychiatric support, and group interventions. All services will be guided by the Jason K Principles and delivered according to guidelines set forth by the RBHA and ADHS.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement treatment plans, assessment criteria, and programmatic goals, objectives, and activities.
- Provide intake and psychosocial assessments of families and/or their individual members.
- Conduct home visits as needed and case consultations with other agencies and organizations.
- Provide therapy and/or clinical case management for a full caseload of families and/or individual members.
- Engage in solution-focused, strength-based behavioral health/clinical services to consumers in accordance with company standards.
- Provide on-call crisis intervention coverage as needed, including during normal hours, evenings, holidays, and weekends.
- Coordinate closely with case managers and staff from other providers and outside entities.
- Collaborate with clinical teams and case managers for the best interest of the consumer.
- Consult with clinical staff and other community human service professionals.
- Develop and maintain treatment plans for consumers in conjunction with team members.
- Document consumer services according to approved standards, rules, regulations, and site procedures.
- Monitor caseload for authorizations and re-authorizations as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate, thorough, and current documentation of consumer contacts, services/treatment plans, progress, and barriers.
- Maintain a full caseload and the required number of client contact hours per week.
- Maintain the expected level of productivity.
Education & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 21 years of age, with a Master’s degree in Behavioral Health (Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work) plus 1 year of full-time behavioral health experience.
- Fingerprint clearance issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety or eligibility to receive it within eight weeks of hire.
- Good knowledge of DSM V, State SMI checklist, community resources, psychotropic medications, crisis intervention, evidence-based practices, and techniques for treating co-occurring disorders in diverse ethnic populations.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Must maintain personal auto insurance as per SBH guidelines.
