Overview

Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Therapist at The Rite Care Evening Learning Center in Berrien County, MI. At Rite Care, we provide after-school intervention to at-risk youth. Students participate in evidence-based groups, skill building, tutoring, mentoring, case management and other structured activities during the time of day that is the highest risk for anti-social behaviors. Rite Care operates as a diversion program for youth at risk of involvement with the Juvenile Justice System, or those who are currently involved and need additional community support.

Pay - $67k - $75k - Depending on education and experience.

What you will do

The Therapist is a member of the Rite Care Team and is responsible for leading groups and the day-to-day monitoring, contact and supervision of the youth assigned to the Program. This position reports to the Program Manager and serves as a leader among the site team and community specialist.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Licensure in the field of mental health as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or related. Limited Licenses are acceptable.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB tests.
• Ability to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry.
• Must meet requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having a valid Driver's license.
