Job summary

Rite of Passage Brand in Flint, MI, is seeking a qualified Therapist to lead and supervise at-risk youth programs. You will create a safe environment while partnering with community specialists.

The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, mental health licensure, and passing several background checks. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Responsibilities

What you will do:

• Lead groups and day‑to‑day monitoring, contact, and supervision of the youth assigned to the program.
• Report to the Program Manager and serve as a leader among the site team and community specialists.

Qualifications

To be considered:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Licensure in the field of mental health such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or related (limited licenses acceptable).
• At least 21 years of age.
• Pass criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test.
• Pass search of the child and adult abuse central registry.
• Meet the requirements to become an ROP-eligible driver and possess a valid driver’s license.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
