Job summary

Kid's Thrive Southern Columbus is seeking a Day Treatment Pediatric Therapist to provide child-centered therapy on a full-time day-shift schedule in Southern Columbus, Ohio.

You will develop individualized treatment goals, collaborate with families and a multidisciplinary team, document progress, and follow ethical and privacy standards while creating a developmentally appropriate, engaging therapy environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a therapy discipline is required.
• Current Ohio licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure is required.
• Experience with children in pediatric, behavioral health, developmental, outpatient, or related settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and/or group therapy to children based on assessed needs and treatment plans.
• Complete evaluations, assessments, and clinical documentation.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment goals and interventions.
• Monitor progress toward goals and document changes.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, teachers, physicians, and other professionals.
• Educate families on strategies to support progress outside of therapy.
• Participate in treatment planning and MDT meetings.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and follow standards.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Therapist to join our team on a full-time, day-shift schedule.

Position Overview

As a Therapist, you will provide high-quality, child-centered therapeutic services to children and their families. You will work closely with caregivers and members of the multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment goals, provide evidence-based interventions, monitor progress, and help children build the skills they need to succeed at home, in school, and in their communities.

Key Responsibilities

Provide individual and/or group therapy services to children based on their assessed needs and treatment plans.

Complete appropriate evaluations, assessments, and clinical documentation.

Develop and implement individualized treatment goals and interventions.

Monitor and document each child's progress toward established goals.

Collaborate with parents, caregivers, teachers, physicians, and other healthcare professionals as appropriate.

Educate families and caregivers on strategies that can support continued progress outside of therapy sessions.

Participate in treatment planning and multidisciplinary team meetings.

Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical records.

Follow all applicable professional, ethical, privacy, and safety standards.

Establish positive, trusting relationships with children and families.

Create an engaging, supportive, and developmentally appropriate therapeutic environment.

Communicate effectively with team members regarding patient needs, progress, and concerns.

Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

Perform other duties related to the role as assigned.

Qualifications

Master's degree or appropriate graduate-level degree in the relevant therapy discipline.

Current Ohio licensure or eligibility for applicable Ohio licensure.

Experience working with children preferred.

Experience in a pediatric, behavioral health, developmental, outpatient, or related setting is a plus.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to establish rapport with children and families.

Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Commitment to providing compassionate, family-centered care.
