Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered therapeutic services to children and adolescents.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify developmental, behavioral, emotional, functional, and/or therapeutic needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical goals.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions appropriate to the patient's age, condition, and treatment plan.
• Monitor and document patient progress, response to treatment, and clinical outcomes.
• Modify treatment plans as appropriate based on patient progress and changing needs.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, caregivers, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment goals, home programs, and ongoing care needs.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation.
• Participate in care conferences, team meetings, quality-improvement initiatives, and discharge planning as appropriate.
• Promote a safe, supportive, respectful, and inclusive environment for patients and families.
• Follow facility policies, clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and professional practice guidelines.
• Maintain professional competence through continuing education and ongoing development.
