Job summary

KeyStone Center in Chester, PA, is seeking a Primary Therapist to deliver high quality services to adults with dual diagnosis and chemical dependency. You will coordinate care, assess needs, and deliver individual, group, and educational services within a safe, therapeutic milieu.

The role requires a Master’s in a mental health field and at least one year of relevant experience in a chemical/sexual dependency treatment setting, with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

  • One year full-time experience in a chemical/sexual dependency treatment setting.

Responsibilities

KeyStone Center, located in Chester, Pennsylvania, offers substance use disorder and dual diagnosis treatment for adults. We are located five miles south of the Philadelphia Airport, making our facility an easy location to travel to and from, for out-of-state treatment options and visitors.

The Primary Therapist is responsible for monitoring and delivering high quality services to dually diagnosed/chemically dependent patients. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Coordination of the full continuum of care;
  • Assessment and documentation of clinical needs;
  • Implementing and delivering individual, group and educational services;
  • The provision of a safe and therapeutic milieu;
  • Crisis intervention and full participation with the multidisciplinary team toward meeting a patient's treatment plan objectives;
  • Discharge planning and referrals to community resources required.

Qualifications
