Responsibilities

Key Recovery, located in Brookhaven, PA offers several outpatient groups for adults requiring structured care during the day, but who can continue to return home following their treatment.

The Clinical Diretor oversees and participates in all operational functions of clinical programing, assuring the delivery of high quality services to all patients. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to providing program management and clinical supervision/evaluation of all clinical staff; prioritizing and delegation of duties; staff and program scheduling; ongoing program compliance audits; assistance with program development and performance improvement; performing direct clinical services to patients.

Qualifications

Job Specifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competency in the criteria listed in this job description. The specifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability to meet the minimum requirements for this position. Staff must demonstrate ability to provide clinically appropriate care to varied populations, including chemically dependent patients. Facilitate all clinical interventions and document fully. Work with internal resources and departments to facilitate treatment.

Education and Experience:

  • A Licensed Masters level mental health professional (with a degree in a related mental health discipline from an accredited college).
  • Minimum of two years full time supervisory experience in a chemical dependency/dual diagnosis treatment setting preferred

Knowledge: Must possess knowledge of dual diagnosis / chemical dependency treatment approaches, Completencies in administrative functioning and management of critical/high risk issues. Understaniding of Regulatory agency standards

Environmental Conditions: Professional office environment. Exposure to dually diagnosed patients who potentially may exhibit violent or aggressive behavior. Potential for exposure to communicable diseases, blood/bodily fluids.

Physical Requirements: Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Physical agility to manage patients. Push, pull and lift up to 40 pounds. Intermittent walking, bending and stooping. Drug and alcohol free as evidenced by negative results of post-offer, pre-employment urine drug screen. The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this job.
