Job summary

One Hope United is seeking a Support Worker to manage a therapeutic residential living environment at the Hope House in Pasco County, FL. The role focuses on teaching daily living, social, and emotional-regulation skills per each youth’s Individual Treatment Plan.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, minimum 21 years old, valid driver’s license, and a DCF background check. Prior residential/youth services experience is preferred; OHU offers tuition assistance and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience with children, adolescents, or young adults in care settings.
• Experience in residential treatment centers or related youth services preferred.
• Hands-on experience with behavior management and crisis intervention.
• Experience maintaining documentation and logs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise youth per OHU and DCF policies.
• Promote a therapeutic, trauma-informed environment.
• Teach and model daily living and social skills per treatment plan.
• Maintain certification in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) or equivalent.
• Attend meetings and trainings as required.
• Transport youth to court, school, appointments, or related duties.
• Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
