One Hope United’s residential care program provides a range of quality services to adolescents in foster care. Youth entering residential care are traumatized and sometimes in crisis. As a Youth Care Worker in our residential program, you are a part of a team that provides a range of mental health services to our youth.
The residential team has a long history of creating a culture of caring for employees. The leadership team understands that you are a person first and provides support tailored to your life as much as possible, considering program needs. Built into this program are opportunities for professional growth, resulting in increased responsibility and pay. After five years of work as a Youth Care Worker, you will earn a Mental Health Professional certification from Medicaid and be eligible for a role with increased responsibility and pay. All of this, plus team members gather for a meal in the cafeteria each Wednesday, celebratory spotlights on team members, and the best “swag” (shirts, hoodies) at OHU!
In addition, you will receive
You will need a high school diploma or GED
You must be 21-years-old according to contract requirements
1-3 years of human services experience preferred
High School Diploma or better in General Studies.
