Upbring is seeking a Residential Dorm Supervisor to supervise residents and direct care staff, ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment aligned with agency standards and regulatory requirements. You will support milieu management, coordinate activities, and assist with shift planning.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and the ability to respond to crises while maintaining documentation and collaboration with clinical teams. Travel not specified; primarily on-site supervision.

Formación

• Must be 21 years of age or older per licensing requirements.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• One year of employment experience in the child welfare field with children/adolescents (9 months if current/former Upbring RTC employee).
• Familiarity with basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong communication skills with ability to enter information clearly in a computer.
• Ability to work both in a team and independently.
• Willingness to work extra shifts as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee direct care staff and ensure policy and procedure compliance while maintaining proper staff-to-resident ratios.
• Monitor resident behavior, set limits, and intervene to prevent or de-escalate crises.
• Document safety concerns, injuries, and required reports promptly.
• Ensure accurate completion of documentation (progress notes, incident reports, logs, medication records).
• Collaborate with management, clinical staff, and volunteers to meet program goals and safety protocols.
• Develop weekly activity schedules with therapeutic activities and ensure resources are available.
• Maintain awareness of dorm activities and adherence to posted schedules; address exceptions.
• Provide backup support across dorms and assist with medication administration as prescribed.
