Job summary

Upbring is seeking a Residential Dorm Supervisor to oversee residents in a therapeutic adolescent environment, ensuring safety, compliance, and individualized care aligned with agency standards.

You will supervise direct care staff, manage shift routines, and coordinate with clinical teams to deliver high‑quality services while supporting staff development and maintaining a positive, trauma‑informed milieu.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older per licensing requirements.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• One year employment experience in the child welfare field with children/adolescents or equivalent.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Ability to manage stressed situations with sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee direct care staff and ensure adherence to policies and safety ratios.
• Monitor resident behavior and intervene to prevent crises per treatment plans.
• Documentations and reports are completed accurately before shift end.
• Coordinate with management and clinical staff to meet program goals.
• Develop and manage weekly therapeutic activity schedules and supervise staff accordingly.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of new staff.
• Lead staff meetings and provide ongoing supervision and feedback.
• Support staff development through training in collaboration with leadership.
