Job summary

Nemours Children's Health in Wilmington, Delaware, seeks a Therapeutic Technician (Outpatient Therapy Services), casual/PRN, to support outpatient therapy teams. You will organize, prepare and assist in the delivery of patient care, maintain treatment areas, and help with transfers, ambulation and activities of daily living under licensed therapist supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a clinical setting.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Organize, prepare and assist in the delivery of patient care services.
• Maintain treatment areas within safety and infection control guidelines.
• Assist therapist/nursing personnel with transfers, ambulation and ADLs.
• Support aquatic therapy under supervision of a licensed therapist.
• Order and stock medical, nonmedical, and office supplies within budget guidelines.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments and check in patients.
• Attend monthly program meetings and complete required trainings yearly.
