Nemours Children's Health in Wilmington, Delaware, seeks a Therapeutic Technician (Outpatient Therapy Services) to join our team full-time. The role prepares and maintains patient care areas, assists therapists and nurses, and helps organize wellness and group programs.

Requires a high school diploma, BLS, pool operator and lifeguard certifications, and at least 6 months of experience. The incumbent will transport patients, monitor aquatic activities, and participate in safety, infection

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Minimum of 6 months experience required.
• American Heart Association BLS Certification required upon hire and maintained.
• Certified Pool Operator required but not upon hire.
• Lifeguard certification required but not upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and maintain therapeutic treatment and patient care areas.
• Assist therapist and nursing personnel with transfers, ambulation, and activities of daily living.
• Organize and implement volunteer, wellness, and summer group programs.
• Transport patients to and from therapy appointments.
• Pool operations and lifeguard duties as applicable.
• Schedule appointments and handle check-in for patients.
