Position Summary: Responsible for supporting the therapeutic milieu and/or providing individual TBS services under the direction of a Team Lead and Clinical Supervisor, by ensuring that the schedule/program is consistently delivered, clients are supervised, safety is maintained, and clients and families are treated with respect and dignity.
Job Duties
- Supports the daily therapeutic programming for children and adolescents in the Kids Thrive pediatric mental health program.
- Assists clinical staff with implementing treatment plans, behavioral interventions, and skill‑building activities.
- Monitors clients during group, individual, and recreational activities to ensure safety, engagement, and therapeutic structure.
- Models positive behavior, emotional regulation, and pro‑social skills to promote client growth and development.
- Helps facilitate individual or group interventions, including social skills, coping skills, and psycho-educational activities
- Observes, documents, and reports client behavior, participation, and progress throughout the day.
- Manages crisis situations calmly and effectively, following program safety protocols and de‑escalation strategies.
- Maintains a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment, including completing room checks and monitoring program areas.
- Collaborates with clinicians, teachers, nurses, and program leadership to ensure coordinated care.
- Builds positive rapport with clients and families while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Participates in team meetings, trainings, and debriefings to support high‑quality care.
- Learns and competently uses EMR and other required systems to document services, track participation, and communicate with the team.
- Helps prepare materials and supports staff with program activities and treatment groups.
- Performs additional tasks that support program safety, organization, and therapeutic effectiveness.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors or Masters from an accredited college. Combination of education and relevant work experience may be required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a mental health or education setting with young children, with direct experience working with children with mental health or significant behaviors difficulties.
- License: N/A
- Additional Requirements: Completion of additional mental health training within 30 days of employment. Must be at least 18 years of age. May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.
