Job summary

Dr Hill Educational Services is looking for part-time support staff in Connecticut to provide in-home assistance to children. The role involves working one-on-one with a child according to their individual behavior treatment plan, requiring 3 years of experience with children, a valid driver’s license, and certifications in First Aid and CPR. Other duties include documenting services and providing intervention supports to families. Training will be provided and costs deducted from the first paycheck.

• May function under regular supervision by a professionally licensed or certified personnel

• Therapeutic Support Staff Training is provided before working (Training cost will be deducted from the first paycheck)

Description of Duties

The primary focus of this role is to provide in-home support one-on-one with a young client in accordance with his/her individual behavior treatment plan. The duties are varied from assisting the child or teen in avoiding unacceptable behavior, playing an emotionally supportive role, encouraging social interaction and participation in group activities, and helping the child’s family and caregivers promote acceptable behavior and more independence.
