Job summary

Dr Hill Educational Services Llc is seeking part-time support staff in Milford, CT, to provide one-on-one in-home assistance to children according to individualized behavior treatment plans. Responsibilities include promoting acceptable behavior, encouraging social interactions, and keeping service documentation. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience with children, a valid Connecticut driver's license, and current First Aid and CPR certification. Training will be provided, with associated costs deducted from the first paycheck.

Qualifications

• May function under supervision by licensed personnel.

Connecticut (Location varies) – $20-$25/hour – Part-time

Description of Duties

The primary focus of this role is to provide in-home support one-on-one with a young client in accordance with his/her individual behavior treatment plan. The duties are varied from assisting the child or teen in avoiding unacceptable behavior, playing an emotionally supportive role, encouraging social interaction and participation in group activities, and helping the child’s family and caregivers promote acceptable behavior and more independence.
