The primary focus of this role is to provide in-home support one-on-one with a young client in accordance with his/her individual behavior treatment plan. The duties are varied from assisting the child or teen in avoiding unacceptable behavior, playing an emotionally supportive role, encouraging social interaction and participation in group activities, and helping the child’s family and caregivers promote acceptable behavior and more independence.
