Job summary

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement research-based specialized instruction aligned with each student’s IEP.
• Develop and implement annual IEPs in collaboration with parents and team members.
• Assess student progress through data collection and analysis to inform instruction.
• Utilize varied teaching strategies to address diverse academic and behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with therapists and service providers to integrate supports into instruction.
• Coordinate provision of all special education services per IEP.
• Maintain accurate documentation including progress notes and logs.
• Create a structured, supportive learning environment promoting growth.
• Implement and monitor behavior plans and trauma-informed strategies.
• Engage in ongoing professional development in special education and related practices.
• Serve as primary contact for families and school staff.
