Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with a computer and basic knowledge of substance-use disorders.
• Basic knowledge of mental health disorders and symptom presentation.
• Basic understanding of trauma-informed care.
• Maintaining professional boundaries at all times.
• Ability to complete all tasks assigned during a shift with minimal supervision.
• Ensuring patient safety at all times.
• Effective communication with patients and staff.
• Timely checking and responding to emails.
• Ability to follow Fora’s policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the therapeutic environment and model respectful communication.
• Greet the public and answer the phone professionally and confidentially.
• Perform clerical duties and manage incident reports when indicated.
• Document incidents and apply the Electronic Health Record as needed.
• Assist with transportation and supervision of patients during outings.
• Conduct rounds, searches, and safety checks of the building.
• Support patient engagement in treatment and recovery.
• Uphold cultural sensitivity and respect for diverse identities.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
