Job summary

The Masonic Homes of California invites applications for a Lorber Recreation Leader to plan and direct therapeutic active living programs for skilled nursing residents. You will promote physical, mental, and social well-being while supporting residents’ spiritual and educational needs in a caring environment.

Two years of recent recreation experience are required, with OBRA/Title 22 familiarity. High School diploma or equivalent is required; Activity Director Certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years recent experience in a social or recreation program, one year in a patient activity program in a health care setting.
• Ability to think creatively and communicate ideas to staff and residents.
• Experience in OBRA and Title 22 regulated setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct therapeutic active living programs for skilled nursing residents.
• Promote residents' spiritual, emotional, educational, recreational and social needs.
• Maintain documentation and coordinate with departments to support resident care and program effectiveness.
