Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in recreation-related field and 1 year of related experience.
• Or Bachelor's in any field with 2 years in recreation administration planning programs.
• Volunteer hours may count toward qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, promote, and evaluate community programs for disabilities.
• Implement behavior management strategies.
• Train and supervise recreation leaders, interns, and volunteers.
• Liaise with public/private agencies, groups, schools, businesses, parents.
• Assist in fundraising and prepare program reports.
• Prepare budget estimates for programs and events.
