POSITION TITLE : Certified Elementary Teacher
HOURS OF WORK: 8 Hours Daily / 187 Calendar Days Yearly
STATUS: Certified – Contract
POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for implementing, organizing, and planning an appropriate instructional program for an elementaryclassroom.
This position is expected to encourage and guide student's intellectual development by combining the instructors unique pedagogical and professional experiences with the program of study.
This position reports to the buildingprincipal.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires the performance of light work. The position must be able to discern and prepare data to communicate information with parents, staff, and students. The position requires occasionally moving between buildings and at times remaining in a stationary position.
The position is performed in a generally hazard free environment and a clean atmosphere.
