Qualifications

• Kansas teaching certification with K-6 endorsement required.
• High Incidence SPED endorsement preferred.
• Experience in an educational setting or professional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assign, grade, and provide feedback on assignments, class work, homework, and tests.
• Attend in-service training, unit meetings, and workshops.
• Contribute in meetings with communities, departments, districts, parents, and school(s).
• Facilitate active learning by assigning and preparing classroom curriculum.
• Implement strategies to encourage, instruct, and monitor to optimize student learning.
• Maintain comprehensive and precise record of student progress and required documentation.
• Participate in academic, extracurricular, and professional support activities.
• Positively correct inconducive behavior in accordance with district procedures and rules.
• Use latest technologies to differentiate and support future-ready instruction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
