Job summary

WellSpan Philhaven in Mount Gretna, PA, seeks a dedicated behavioral health professional to support therapeutic activities and client care. You will collaborate with counselors, nurses, therapists, and psychiatrists to maintain a safe milieu and deliver interventions aligned with patient treatment plans.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a clinical field or a Master’s with a mental health focus, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work daytime hours Mon-Fri.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent from foreign college evaluated by AICE/NACES
• Master's degree with mental health/counseling focus required

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day therapeutic activities.
• Manage behavioral crises under supervision, including 1:1 observation and crisis intervention.
• Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Collaborate on treatment plans with staff and input from caregivers.
• Provide direct client care and milieu programming.
• Perform administrative duties: filing, scheduling, reports and communications.
• Assist in transporting clients by WellSpan vehicle when needed.
