Omni Family of Services in Ohio seeks a Therapeutic Mentor (Part-Time) to build positive relationships with youth, support development of life skills, and help them succeed at home, school, and in the community. Flexible geographic assignments match you with youth in or near your community.

Ideal for students or early-career professionals in psychology, social work, counseling, education, or related fields seeking hands-on experience.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Pass background checks and a drug test, including THC.
• Reliable smartphone and basic computer skills.
• Availability after school, evenings, and occasional weekends.
• Experience with youth or families preferred.

This is an excellent opportunity for college students and early-career professionals interested in psychology, social work, counseling, education, or related fields who want hands‑on experience while making a real impact.

What You'll Do

• Mentor and coach youth using trauma‑informed, strengths‑based approaches.
• Help youth build communication, emotional regulation, social, coping, and independent living skills.
• Reinforce treatment goals through fun, engaging community‑based activities.
• Collaborate with families, therapists, schools, and other providers.
• Complete documentation and provide transportation to appointments and activities as needed.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED required. Associate's or bachelor's degree (or currently enrolled) in psychology, social work, counseling, education, criminal justice, or a related field preferred.
• At least 21 years old.
• Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass background checks and a drug test, including but not limited to THC.

• Availability after school, evenings, and occasional weekends.
• Experience working with youth or families preferred.

Schedule

• School Year: Most services occur after 3:30 p.m. in approximately 3-hour blocks.
• Summer: Flexible daytime and evening hours available.
• Flexibility to make your own schedule!
