Family Health West is seeking a Dietary Cook to join a vibrant western Colorado kitchen team. The role requires reliable attendance, reading and speaking English, and the ability to follow recipes and therapeutic diets.

The position offers opportunities to support patients and work across a busy 5:00am–8:00pm schedule, with open shifts for mornings, evenings, weekends and special events. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of related experience, must obtain a Food Handlers Card or ServSafe within 60

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and speak English.
• 1-2 years related experience in foodservice preferred.
• ServSafe certification within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Reliable and punctual attendance is essential; must be at work as scheduled.
• Communicate necessary information to others as appropriate.
• Prepare meals according to therapeutic diet and menu.
• Follow standardized recipes and organize meal prep times.
• Adhere to HACCP and sanitation standards during meal prep.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
