Job summary

Haven Health Cottonwood, AZ seeks a compassionate Dietary Aide to support our residents under the Dietary Manager. You will stock food items, assist with food prep and storage, and help in preparing, cooking and serving therapeutic meals.

Ideal candidates will have a Food Handler’s Permit, clear background checks, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Proficiency in English and teamwork are essential to ensure safe, high-quality dining and nutrition services for residents.

Qualifications

• Food Handler’s Permit in Required Counties
• Fingerprinting Clearance Card (or eligible to obtain)
• Background Screening, Licensure Verification (if applicable), Reference Check, Drug Testing
• Tuberculosis Testing
• Employee Health Screening (Conducted after Hire)
• Ability to Move, Lift and Transfer a minimum of 50 Pounds
• Must be able to Speak, Read, Write and Understand English

Responsibilities

• Stocking food items, food prep and storage of unused unpackaged items
• Preparing, cooking and serving therapeutic meals
• Assisting in portion control
• Reporting on resident food and beverage consumption
• Cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, dining and utility areas
