Job summary

Haven Health Tucson is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our kitchen and dining team. The role supports the Dietary Manager by stocking food items, assisting with food prep and the storage of unused items, and serving meals to residents in a healthcare setting.

The position requires you to perform cooking and serving tasks, assist in portion control, and help maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, dining, and related areas.

Qualifications

• Food Handler’s Permit in Required Counties.
• Fingerprinting Clearance Card (or eligible to obtain).
• Background Screening, Licensure Verification (if applicable), Reference Check, Drug Testing.
• Tuberculosis Testing
• Employee Health Screening (Conducted after Hire)
• Ability to Move, Lift and Transfer a minimum of 50 Pounds.
• Must be able to Speak, Read, Write and Understand English.

Responsibilities

• Stocking food items, food prep and storage of unused items.
• Prepare, cook and serve therapeutic meals as directed.
• Assist in portion control and reporting resident consumption.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen, dining and utility areas.
