Job summary

Clallam County District Court seeks a Therapeutic Court Program Coordinator to oversee development, implementation, coordination and daily operation of District Court I Therapeutic Court programs, including Mental Health Court and Veterans Court.

Under supervision, the role coordinates judges, attorneys, treatment providers, Veterans Affairs and community partners; manages screenings, case plans, referrals, treatment services and compliance; and participates in court proceedings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law and Justice, Social Sciences, Psychology or related field.
• Two years of experience in criminal justice or counseling; therapeutic courts preferred.
• No history of alcohol or other drug misuse for five years prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the District Court I Therapeutic Court Programs.
• Liaise among Judges, Prosecutors, Public Defenders, Veterans Affairs, treatment providers.
• Develop participant action plans and monitor progress for graduation from therapeutic courts.
• Coordinate budgets, grants, data collection, and program evaluation activities.
• Prepare court documentation and participate in court proceedings as needed.
