Mindfully Behavioral Health in West Chester, OH, is seeking a Child Behavior Specialist (BSW/LSW) to provide a safe, structured and therapeutic environment for children. The role includes leading group and individual sessions, completing threat assessments, and implementing our care model, with strong collaboration with families and the team.

The position offers full-time weekday hours, comprehensive benefits, ongoing training through Mindfully Academy, and opportunities for professional growth

Qualifications

• BSW required and LSW licensed in Ohio.
• Must be at least 19 years old.
• Comfortable working with children ages 3–8.
• CPR/First Aid certification within 3 weeks of hire.
• Annual flu vaccination or approved exemption.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Pass a comprehensive background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and structured environment for children to grow and thrive.
• Lead group sessions and individual therapy with clients.
• Complete threat assessments and implement interventions.
• Implement the Positive Leaps model of care and curriculum.
• Support treatment goals developed by the Program Coordinator.
• Maintain accurate documentation and clinical data per laws and policies.
• Collaborate with families, team members, and supervisors to track progress.
• Demonstrate leadership and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
• Provide constructive feedback to peers and supervisors.
• Maintain classroom organization to foster a therapeutic atmosphere.
• Assist with other classroom or clinical needs as they arise.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW)

Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in Ohio

Strong written and verbal communication skills

CPR/First Aid Certification (must be obtained within 3 weeks of hire)

Annual flu vaccination or approved exemption

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
