Job summary

Five Acres in Pasadena, CA, is seeking a clinician to provide therapeutic services to clients and families. The role involves monitoring behavioral needs, assisting with interventions, and maintaining a compliant, well-documented caseload under supervision.

The position requires a high school diploma with 2 years of mental health experience (Bachelor’s preferred) and bilingual Spanish/English is a plus. Valid CA driver license and flexibility in hours are needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus two years of mental health experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in a mental health related field preferred.
• Bi-lingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Must have valid California Driver License and meet driver guidelines.
• Ability to work varied hours and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapeutic services to clients and families under supervision.
• Monitor and adjust behavioral needs and goals for clients; assist parents with interventions.
• Maintain caseload to meet daily billable hours; follow productivity policy.
• Submit timely progress notes, safety plans, reauthorizations, and chart notes as per policy.
• Document all work accurately for QA standards and peer review audits.
• Participate in supervision; discuss caseload, documentation, and productivity.
• Build rapport with children and families and work with community partners.
• Advocate for behavioral needs of clients and families.
• Stay updated on program standards and attend training/workshops.
