Job summary

Five Acres is seeking a qualified clinician to provide direct services to children and families in a foster care/adoptions setting. The role supports evidence-based practices and case coordination within a busy, client-centered program.

The position requires a Master’s degree and professional registration (ACSW/AMFT/APCC), with at least 1 year of related experience. A valid California driver license, bilingual skills, and flexibility with hours are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree is required.
• 1 year of experience in foster care/adoptions or with foster youth.
• California Driver License with proof of auto insurance.
• Bi-lingual Spanish/English may be preferred.
• Pro Act de-escalation training within Day 1.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical work and/or therapeutic services to clients and families.
• Maintain productivity and billable hours targets per policy.
• Submit timely documentation (progress notes, assessments, treatment plans, chart notes).
• Assess needs and symptoms, formulate psychosocial diagnoses, determine treatment methods (individual, family, group, etc.).
• Monitor client progress and modify treatment using outcome measures.
• Document all work accurately as per QA standards.
• Participate in clinical supervision and apply feedback in practice.
• Establish rapport with children, families, and community partners.
• Advocate for client accompaniment to court/medical visits to ensure safe placement.
• Maintain knowledge of program standards and pursue ongoing education.
