Job summary

Eyas Landing - Avondale is seeking a Therapeutic Assistant/Behavior Technician (Flex) to provide behavior therapy within the Merlin Day Academy, a school-based, team-driven program for children aged 6-14 with ASD and related needs.

You will implement ABA-based interventions under supervision, collect data, and collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to support each child's growth in cognitive, social, emotional, and adaptive skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 60 credits required; Bachelor's preferred.
• 40-hour ASD and behavior-related training completed.
• Experience with children with special needs is required; autism experience preferred.
• BACB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized therapy to children.
• Data collection on programming and progress.
• Support during therapeutic rotations.
• Implement evidence-based plans under supervision.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and social workers daily.
• Document progress and communicate with families.
