Job summary

Blue Bird Day, LLC in Wheaton, IL seeks a Therapeutic Assistant/Behavior Technician Flex to support children ages 2-7 with ASD and related needs. This clinic-based role offers predictable hours Monday–Friday, 8:30am-5pm, with no evenings or weekends.

You will provide individualized therapy, collect data, and assist during rotations under supervision of a BCBA. Collaboration with teachers, therapists, and families is essential to promote cognitive, social, emotional, and developmental growth.

Qualifications

• Requires degree or 60 credits and ASD/behavior training.
• Experience with children or clients with special needs required.
• BACB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized therapy to children.
• Collect data on programming for progress tracking.
• Support during therapeutic rotations.
• Implement evidence-based plans under BCBA supervision.
• Collaborate daily with teachers, therapists, and social workers.
• Document progress and communicate with families.

Skills

Experience with children with special
