Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a therapeutic recreation or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Three (3) years of job-related experience, including one (1) year in a lead worker, team leader, or supervisory role or equivalent.
• Some positions may require registration in the area of assignment.

Aufgaben

• Plans, directs or coordinates therapeutic recreation programs.
• Able to assist with activities such as sports, gardening, dramatics, music, social activities, and arts and crafts.
• Conducts assessment of an individual’s condition and recommends appropriate recreational activity.
• May transport and/or accompanies clients to treatment units, using a wheelchair or stretcher.
