Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities seeks an Activity Therapist 1 at Milledgeville, Central State Hospital to plan and coordinate recreational programs for clients.

Under supervision, you conduct assessments, recommend activities such as sports, art, music, gardening, and social events, and help implement therapy-based recreation plans. A high school diploma with two years of related experience is required; a bachelor's in therapeutic recreation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation or related discipline (preferred).
• Two years of related therapeutic recreation experience (minimum).
• Ability to assess client conditions and recommend activities.
