Qualifications

• Four years of experience providing therapeutic activities for individuals with disabilities
• Bachelor's degree with major coursework in therapeutic recreation, physical education, rehabilitation, counseling, art/music/occupational therapies or related field
• Equivalency of experience and training may be accepted

Responsibilities

• Create and lead therapeutic and educational activity sessions across units and programs
• Perform admission assessments, reassessments, and progress documentation
• Match individuals with suitable recreation activities based on assessments and input from treatment team
• Attend treatment team meetings and support individualized goals and progress
