Hudson Scenic Studios in Yonkers, NY seeks an experienced Project Manager for theatrical scenery and immersive environments. You will guide projects from kickoff through fabrication, installation, and closeout, coordinating clients, designers, vendors, and internal teams to align scope, schedule, and budget.

The role emphasizes hands‑on collaboration, travel as needed, and strong problem‑solving across multi‑discipline builds. We value clear communication and a proactive, adaptable mindset.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Design and Technology, Themed Entertainment Design, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience managing high-end custom fabrication projects in theatrical scenery or themed environments.
• Experience handling budgets of $500K+ and delivering on schedule and scope.
• Strong financial acumen to evaluate estimates, track costs, and forecast.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Autodesk Inventor, and MS 365 for project docs.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities across concurrent projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to lead client/vendor discussions.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, designers, supervisors, vendors and internal teams.
• Serve as the primary client representative from kickoff to final delivery and closeout.
• Provide project leadership to align with design intent, technical requirements and contracts.
• Guide projects through fabrication while managing scope, schedule, and deliverables.
• Manage project financial performance, revenue forecasting, gross margin and cost control.
• Submit and manage change orders with clients and internal teams.
• Review schedules, payment terms and contract conditions with Finance.
• Review and authorize purchase orders and subcontractor agreements as required.
• Oversee shop progress, coordinate drawing reviews with design/engineering, and integrate drawings into workflows.
• Monitor quality control to ensure fabrication meets specifications and Hudson standards.
• Maintain fabrication schedules, labor projections, and material ordering with vendors.
• Coordinate load-out schedules and logistics with warehouse/trucking teams.
