Theatre Student Assistant (Costume Shop) at The California State University in Stanislaus - Turlock is a temporary hourly-intermittent student position. Availability during evenings and weekends is required, with start between Oct 1, 2026 and May 31, 2027.

Duties include box office cashiering, event support, and assisting in Costume/Scene Shops. Undergraduate or graduate students must meet minimum unit enrollment: 6 units for undergraduates and 4 units for post-baccalaureate students.

Qualifications

• Undergrad students must be registered in a minimum of six Fall/Spring units.
• Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four Fall/Spring units.
• Preferred: cashiering and customer service experience; ability to learn new software quickly; multitasking capability; reliable and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide support as a box office cashier for Theatre Department events.
• Provide customer service at Theatre Department events.
• Assist in Theatre Office, Theatre Labs, Costume Shop, and Scene Shop as needed.
• Provide technical assistance when requested.
• Other duties as assigned.
